This chair looks and sounds quite comfortable! I'm only a 13 year old and I was just looking for something to go in my playhouse. I was thinking that the price was a little high. Is there any way that you could lower it?
My 75 year-old mother bought this chair. She has chronic lung problems and the vibration helps clear her lungs. She uses it daily and even swears it has brought her blood pressure down. She has been known use the massage feature for 45 minutes at a time. She loves it.
I have circulation problems in my legs that require daily elevation.
I was originally looking into a classic 50's/60's Contour Chair like my father had, but between high cost and limited space, and fact it doesn't raise legs much, it wasn't practical.
Then I saw this item listed with BigLots.com, and further research showed it could raise ankles considerably higher.
I purchased this chair. When it arrived, the framework is slightly ding'ed-up. Could be a refurb, doesn't really matter. Seat and upholstery is in good shape - no sign of tears others mentioned. Assembly wasn't too tricky, back and leg frames seem a tad rickety compared to classic Contour chair, but are sturdier than they look. Rated at approx 300 lbs, but I'd estimate it can handle 400 if you're not too rough on it.
Massage is comfortable, pretty much same as other Homedics massage chairs. Padding is a little thin, but that's probably necessary for massage feaature.
But the best part is leaning back and elevating the ankles - this thing tilts WAY back, gets the ankles a good 12" or so above head and heart. Kinda tricky to get out of, takes a little practice...
The heat isn't working on my unit, but Homedics is shipping a replacement back frame under warranty, and I'm pretty happy with this thing even without the heat.
My only gripe is that it could use a pillow for headrest.
My chair seems to wwork fine though a little weak on vibrate but not a bad chair. When I assembled the chair rips were evident though small and it didn't seem to be new.
What's everyone saying?
Thanks Big Lots, for carrying these affordable products!

Unfortunately, the price is not negotiable. You will also need someone over the age of 18 to place the order for you.

does this chair just vibrate, or does it have the kneeding action of individual massage balls that rotate?

Is the massage on this chair like shiatsu/kneading or just vibrating spots?

Chair is fine. Mine had some cuts and scratched so I don't think it is new as advertised. Had chair about 2-3 weeks and no problems so far

My usual store location carries VERY little in the furniture. Can I purchase online and pick my order up at the store? Thank you.

Does anyone know how comfortable this is? It doesn't look overly padded.
