Everlast® Easy Glide Free Weight Home Gym System
There are hundreds of excuses for not going to the gym. "Who's going to watch the kids if I go to the gym?" "It's my day off, I haven't shaved, and I'll be darned if I'm going to drive all the way to the gym." "I don't feel like waiting in a long line just to use the stair-stepper." "I've cleaned house all day, my hair's a mess and I'm not letting anyone see me like this!"
Then there's always this one (it actually has some merit): "Gym memberships cost too much!"
Sorry, but you just ran out of excuses. The Everlast® Easy Glide Free Weight Home Gym System lets you exercise right in your own home. Whenever you feel like it. No matter how you look. And without getting in the car or waiting in lines. Plus, it's affordable AND effective!
Keep that promise to yourself to exercise more. To get back in shape (or just keep in shape). To set a better example for your kids. You'll feel better and you'll look better. Don't put it off a minute longer -- click to order your Easy Glide today while it's at this great low closeout price.
What's everyone saying?
PRODUCT IS WORTHLESS!!! The box showed up and nearly 1/2 the pieces were missing, I cannot assemble it and Everlast has since discontinued this so replacement parts are not available!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE

This is what I found from an online research site:
Everlast has designed the Easy Glide Gym, an in-home trainer designed to work the upper and lower body. At the time of this review, the Easy Glide Gym wasn’t available from Everlast’s website, and information on the gym was rather scant elsewhere. It seems that the gym is not widely available, but the reasons for this could be many. It is important simply to note that the gym does not stand out from other in-home gyms, and consumers are advised to look for those products that are well described and readily available from proper websites.
Closer Look:
The advantage to home gyms, like the Easy Glide, is that one can typically workout from head to toe, as it were, without leaving the machine. The disadvantage to such machines is that they usually isolate muscles and do not provide the same benefits as free-weight workouts. Easy Glide does not seem to provide a way around this disadvantage.
That said, users would still be able to perform the wide range of exercises (usually listed between 40 and 70) on the Easy Glide. These include exercises for the chest, arms, shoulders, back, and legs. A potential bonus: Easy Glide Gym does not come with a weight stack, so users can purchase weight plates – in weight an quantity – that would suit their personal training needs. When used in conjunction with other types of muscle training and cardiovascular exercise, the Easy Glide could become an effective and enjoyable method of training.
Website:
As mentioned above, the gym was not included on Everlast.com, which is otherwise a stylish, useful, and informative website.
POSITIVES of the Gym:
Portable (somewhat).
Range of exercises.
Affordable as home gyms go.
NEGATIVES of the gym:
No significant web presence.
Just another home gym.
Not as convenient as some newer muscle-building technologies, such as Electric Muscle Stimulation.
Summary:
The Easy Glide Gym could be a useful addition to an overall strength-training regimen, so long as that regimen is centered on cardiovascular exercise and free weight training. Working out with an Easy Glide is not going to bring about drastic transformation, however, without these other training elements. Significant bodily change will be achieved through varied and regular exercise, a sensible diet, and an overall healthy lifestyle. Interested consumers are advised to research home gyms, but they should also look into alternative products and exercises for muscle development.

I order this item. When we recieved it the box was a mess it was missing bolts and did not have the directions. I called Biglots on line. Was told that I would get a box to send it back with a returne reciept. After four days I called back and was told that I would get an email. That has not happened either. Big Lots must have called UPS to come by to pick the thing up
but I do not have a box or a returne reciept. So they can not get it.
This was sapposed to be a prsent for my son for chrstmas.

I keep seeing people ask about the weights with multiple responses that "no weights are included". Unless this has changed, it stated under the specifications tab.
My question was if it would exercise the gluteus maximus, and after looking closer it is listed. I haven't seen the dimensions yet however. I don't mean to sound superior, but some answers are there if we take the time to look.

how many weights does exercise machine come with?
Posted by: jim | December 08, 2008 at 08:08 PM
in the norm im very happy with biglots stuff and how the local store helps me BUT online i tend to say they suck coz i have email them 2 times this week and still have not reply back . i found this im shock they read and reply back . the one thing i was ask was about returns i have now found out the info hear but this is the deal if you try this out it will show use so you get carge a 15% restocking fee? i think the only way you can find out how good this is to try it out and if its not good you should be able to send it back and get ALL your money back pluse shipping cost .
